This manual describes the main features of Oman Destinations for both travelers and businesses.
For travelers
On the homepage you can search for destinations by name or category. Results show establishments with their rating and basic info. Click a result to open the location page.
Each location page shows details (address, phone, email, WhatsApp, map, website, social links), photos, and traveler reviews. You can change the language with the top bar.
Reviews come from feedback forms that businesses share via QR codes. If you stayed at a place or used a service, you may receive a link or QR code to leave a rating and review.
The Help center page explains trust & safety, contact options, terms of use, privacy, and cookies. Use the Contact page to send a message to the team.
For businesses
Go to the signup page (from the Businesses section or footer). Fill in company name, contact person, email, phone, number of locations, and plan. After submission, the admin will review and approve your account.
Once approved, log in to the establishment dashboard. You will see your locations. Select a location to access its dedicated pages.
You can add or edit locations: name (multilingual), address, phone, email, WhatsApp, coordinates, category, website, and social links. You can also upload a logo and photos.
Under “Questions & suggestions” you configure the questions of your feedback form (e.g. text or star rating). Each form has a unique link and QR code to share with guests.
“Answers & ratings” lists all responses to your forms: guest name, email, answers, and overall rating or review. You can see who left feedback and when.
The Statistics page shows aggregated data from your feedback: average ratings, number of responses, and trends over time for each location.
The SEO section lets you set meta title, description, keywords, canonical URL, and Open Graph image for each location so your pages are well referenced on search engines.
“Mail & newsletter” helps you manage contacts and send emails (e.g. to collect more reviews or communicate with past guests).
“Google Reviews” lists positive reviews from your database. You can send an encouragement email to guests asking them to post their review on Google. The link and Place ID are configurable.
The Badge page provides a trust badge or widget you can place on your website to show your Oman Destinations rating and link to your profile.
Contact form
Anyone can use the Contact page (link in the footer) to send a message. You must enter name, email, and message. Submissions are stored and visible in the admin dashboard.
Blog
The blog lists articles for travelers and businesses. You can open an article to read the full content. The blog uses the same language bar as the rest of the site.
Help center
The Help center contains information on trust & safety, contact, terms of use, privacy policy, and cookie settings. It is the reference for legal and support topics.
